God has called Fellowship Bible Church into long-term relationships and transformation in the community of Hi-Crest located in Southeast Topeka. This neighborhood is listed, as an Intensive Care neighborhood by the city of Topeka due to 92% of the kids live in poverty, an unemployment rate of 25%, and the neighborhood being number one infant mortality in the State of Kansas. We have been involved in the community since Christmas 2012 and God has led us to the next organic phase for our church which is to start another church campus in the community. Our desire is to see people find and follow Jesus in the community of Hi-Crest.
Everyone should have the chance to explore the Christian faith, ask questions, and share their point of view. Great Questions meets to examine different questions about the Christian faith, like: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? Who is the Holy Spirit? Join us for 10 weeks for dinner, teaching, and small group time. The class will take place at Avondale East in the media center on Wednesday evenings starting on September 6th from 5:30 – 7:30pm. (Doors open at 5:00)
