Love Topeka is the umbrella name for a variety of initiatives to love our neighbors in Topeka. Our strategy is to partner with local organizations and to discover, develop, and deploy our own leaders who have a conviction and passion to love and bless our City for the glory of Jesus Christ.
This month’s Initiative Opportunities are:
Foster Village – Background Check Required*
- Child Care for Moms’ group for children birth-12 years old.
- Child Care for Kinship Support Group
Topeka Rescue Mission
- “Chosen” watch party team – Bring community and belonging to guests of the shelter by participating in a watch party of an episode of “the Chosen”
- Serve food – Serve a meal to guests of the Rescue Mission homeless shelter.
Harvesters/Pauline Central Food Pantry
- New location – Pauline Central. Assisting with food distribution, organizing shelves, and maintaining inventory.
Breadbasket Food Pantry
- Assisting with food distribution, organizing shelves, and maintaining inventory.
